Foster Homes

To be able to take in corgis in need of finding their forever home, Corgi Rescue of Eastern NY is in desperate need of foster homes. Foster homes volunteers will take the corgi in to their home during the time needed to find a suitable applicant. If you would like more information on fostering, please email Kathy.

Transportation

Some corgis may need to be transported to the foster home or to their forever home. In most cases, the volunteer would only have to drive approximately 1 hour to meet the next volunteer.

Shelter Assistant

This volunteer would go to their local shelter if a corgi is brought in, evaluate the dog and possibly pull the dog to bring him/her into our rescue program.

Temporary Foster Homes

This volunteer would keep the corgi only for a short period in between their transport. One or two nights unless other arrangements are made.

Payment for your service

The pay is priceless, a wallet full of corgi love, paws full of gratitude and precious corgi kisses...which is the best,  by the way.
