Corgi's are energetic, comical, enchanting and a protective companion. They also can be bossy and domineering. With proper training, these small dogs in a short body will be your true friend forever. We are located in the Capital District area of New York State. Our focus is on helping corgi's in the eastern, upstate region that may need to find a new home. 

Those seeking to adopt from Corgi Rescue of Eastern New York must complete an application, have a phone interview, a check on veterinary and personal references, be willing to have a home visit, pay an adoption fee and accept an Adoption Contract. No corgi will be placed in a situation that will not be favorable for the dog or to those adopting them.  All corgis will be spayed or neutered prior to adoption.

Adoption fees will be determined based on any expenses and necessary veterinarian fees that may have incurred to bring you a healthy dog. Transportation costs are the responsibility of the adoptee.  Transports may be arranged by one of our approved transport coordinators who oversees an all volunteer driver network.
